Days 3, Manbele
Departure for the village of Mambele. In the afternoon, activities with the pygmies: introduction to the wide range of medicinal plants, hunting, fishing and traditional dance. Dinner and night at Camp Kombo.
Days 4 and 5, Lobeke National Park (petite savane)
After park entrance formalities, meet your tracker and porters. We drive for about an hour and begin safari on foot, in dense equatorial forest, climb on the mirador (viewing platform) and watch out for gorillas, elephants, buffallos, bongos, leopards, chimpanzees and a wide variety of birds. Lobeke National Park was created in 2001 and covers a surface area of 217 854 h in the south-east of Cameroon. It is located in the Congo Basin and part of the Tri-national Protected area (STN) of the river Sangha including Dzanga Sangha special reserve in the Central African Republic and Nouabale Ndoki National Park in the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville). Night on the platform or in tents.
Days 6 and 7, Lobeke National Park (Djembe)
Early morning safari, after about two hours walk we meet our car. We drive for another two hours to Djembe Camp where we continue our safari and spend the next two nights. Djembe is at the eastern side of the park where the Sangha river forms a natural boundary between Cameroon and Congo Brazzaville.
Day 8, YokadoumaAfter morning safari, return to Yokadouma. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Hotel.
Day 9, Yokadouma – Yaounde
Long drive to Yaoundé. Diner and night at Merina Hotel or similar.
Day 10, Yaounde - return flight
Relaxed morning. Lunch. City tour, transfer to the airport for return flight.
